Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is an adventure video game with elements of action-adventure. The game is the sequel to The Longest Journey. The plot is set ten years after events of the previous installment. The story takes a place in two parallel worlds which the Earth is consisted of. The first one is named Stark – technologically advanced, based on laws of science and logic.

The second one is called Arcadia – filled with magic and fantastic places. These worlds are available only in dreams and a person has to perform “Shifting” to enter that realms.
The player controls Zoe Castillo and two other characters: April Ryan (known from previous game) and mysterious Kian. Three heroes encounter various threats and face-off different foes while trespassing real and dream worlds. They try to reveal a truth of an international conspiracy that concerns about dangerous lucid-dream inducing technology. All player’s decisions determines a progress of events, so one should act wisely. Gathering items and solving puzzles are inseparable parts of the game.

While discovering dark secrets of world-wide intrigues, the player explores wonderful places scattered in Stark and Arcadia. One also enjoy borrowed concepts from Aboriginal mythology, Islamic art or architecture and other cultures.

After installing the game it will be in Russian.

To change the language follow the steps (and pictures to help you):

 

1. After installation and on beginning screen click the only available button.

2. Once at the second screen click the third option

3. After that click the second tab and click the arrow on the left which
switches it to English and do the same with in-game audio.

    Thanks for the upload, but I can’t get part 3, filefactory gives server error and the other won’t let me download files bigger than 200MB :(

      I’m having the same trouble for the part 3 and I cannot upload it at the moment in another host. If you sign up for a FREE account to Rapidfileshare it will let you download files up to 500MB. You can try this for now until Filefactory fix it’s problems.

      it is not just you . i am not able to open filefactory links at all .maybe there server has crashed .fingers crossed :(

    I just came to install it and it’s in a foriegn language? Does the game run in english once installed?

      Here are detailed instructions on getting english.

      1. After installation and on beginning screen click the only available button.

      Now for the starforce protection, it’s not Windows 7 problem, you just need to apply the crack that will get rid of the protection and let you play the game. Inside the files you have one folder named crack. Can you find it?
      In order to help you more, tell me did you installed the .iso file with..? daemon tools?

        I didn’t realise there was a crack folder, the only file I saw was the iso. I use power iso. I’ll check again
        No I don’t have crack folder, the only file that extracted from archive was the iso file :(

          After you mount the iso you have to go to start>mycomputer> there you will see the virtual drive with dreamfall. Right click on it and choose open(not run). Inside you will find the DVD crack.

      use rapidsharefile.net .make sure you are registered with them .only than they will allow you to download the 500 mb file .it worked for me .hopefully it will work for you too :)
